The Caribbean
This region includes well known places such as Cartagena and Barranquilla, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Mountains, the Rosario and San Bernardo coral reefs, Tayrona Park. and the Magdalena River on which AmaWaterways will begin offer river cruises this year. San Andres Islands are also a part of the region, though much further away.

The Western Andes REgion
As the name suggests, this region includes the western side of the Andes Mountains which really makes it so you are always walking uphill (no joke)! Major city in the area is Medellin - the City of Eternal Spring which is home to the Flower Festival. The region is also home to the coffee triangle consisting of the Caldas, Quindio, and Risaralda departments and is considered the Coffee Cultural Landscape. This region also boasts the tallest palm tress in the world! The wax palms can grow up to 200 feet tall and are found in the Valle de Cocora in the Los Nevados National Natural Park.

The Eastern Andes Region
This area is known for it's Legendary Moors and Valleys while the major city is this region is the capital of Colombia, Bogota. There are 13 National protected areas in the Eastern Andes. It has plains and mountains, deserts and snow capped volcanoes, waterfalls and swamps and so much more. Activities range from biking, ice and rock climbing, abseiling, hiking, wildlife watching, and water sports.
Highlights include Suesca Rocks, Guatavita Lake, La Periquera Ecology Park, Los Estoraques Unique Natural Area, Chicamocha Canyon, Monserrate, Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá are just a few of the impressive sites to visit.
