Sun Destinations
This conjures up images of warm sandy beaches, palm trees, the sound of the waves from the ocean, and spectacular sunsets, providing that much needed R&R from the hectic pace of our day to day lives.
It also brings us sand castles, vast pools and water slides, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, deep sea fishing among some of the endless fun that can be found in the sun!
There are numerous places we can go to escape our Canadian winter. Most common for us in the West are Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Panama, and numerous Caribbean Islands and Hawaii, though many need a connector in Toronto to reach them for a resort stay.
For something a little more exotic (and closer than you think) you might consider Tahiti, French Polynesia, Fiji and South Pacific with Paul Gauguin
If you want to island/destination hop then there are countless cruise options available to visit the West coast or East coast and Caribbean, Central and South America and through the Panama Canal.
There is generally something for everyone; couples or families, girls (or guys) getaway, that idyllic destination wedding or special celebration (birthday, anniversary, graduation...).

Belize - You Better Belize It!
Formerly British Honduras, Belize is located just south of Mexico on the Caribbean side. Not only is Belize part of the mainland of Central America but it has many Islands or Cayes to visit or stay on. Blessed with the Barrier Reef and Blue Hole, it is a divers paradise.
The Belizean dollar is fixed to the USD so it is not a bargain destination, but absolutely worth visiting! English is widely spoken, health care is excellent and the marine and wildlife are incredible. See manatees, sharks, jaguars, dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles, and howler monkeys to name a few.
Costa Rica
Would you choose the beach or the rainforest, or perhaps both on your next trip to Costa Rica? With a huge expanse of coastline combining both the Pacific and the Caribbean, Costa Rica boasts around 600 beaches!
It is renowned for eco-tourism, the diversity of plants and wildlife, beautiful beaches, Arenal Volcano, surfing, and of course coffee!

A destination loved by Canadians, we have a special bond with Jamaica.
